There are many different considerations to take into account when deciding to issue new shares.
First, there are different classes of shares such as ordinary shares, alphabet shares, management shares and even preference shares.
Second, whether the existing shareholders have existing shareholders’ rights of pre-emption. Pre-emption rights are a right of first refusal for existing shareholders to buy the new shares to avoid being diluted and maintain their current percentage of the company.

What is an Investment Fund?
An investment fund is an entity that pools investors’ money to provide the investors with professional investment management.
It involves the formation of a legal entity and designing an internal organization structure and the rights and duties of the internal stakeholders.
Whereas the choice of legal entity depends on the country of origin or domicile of the fund, the organizational structure – such as Fund of funds, Master/ Feeder funds, closed-ended funds.
